VIP Boxing Promotions* TAKING BOXING FORWARD *Since their first show in April 1996 VIP have grown into the leading independent Boxing Promoters in Manchester. As well as maintaining a high quality on their own shows they have developed a good working relationship with all the major TV promoters. Originally they worked exclusively with Frank Maloney who led Panix Promotions and co promoted both Sky and Eurosport dates with them. Since Frank Maloney moved to Sportsnetwork, VIP have opened up the horizons and now work with all the big players including Barry Hearn , Mick Hennessy and Frank Warren. Due to this success promoter Stephen Wood opted to take out a managers license from the British Boxing Board of Control and over the years has helped develop the careers of many a talented fighter - see VIP boxers columns. VIP are Fully Licensed by the British Boxing Board of Control
